Unlock the Power of Feng Shui

Everyone wants to find their soul mate and fall deeply in love. What most people aren’t aware of is that meditation and manifestation can be useful tools to accomplish that. Employing the art of Feng Shui is another way to find success in love, as well as with prosperity, career, life path, creativity, fame, reputation, skills, knowledge and  travel.

If you are looking for love or want to make your existing relationship better, you need not to look any further. It’s essential that your home (especially the bedroom) be balanced in order for you to achieve harmony in relationships of all sorts.

Before you awake and rise for the day’s activities, make sure you’re on the ball by getting your home ready with some Feng Shui cures that you can do yourself. One hint is to create the best area in the house or apartment that best suited as the “love room”. In our next section, we’ll discuss some romantic Feng Shui tips.

How to be a Good Psychic Client – Part 3

5.  Don’t blame your psychic when they deliver negative information to you! I realize that most people come to me when they or someone close to them is in some sort of a predicament. They come hoping and praying that I will see a positive resolution to their situation. Unfortunately, this is not a perfect world and not everything I “see” for my clients is positive. It is important for you to realize that Psychics are messengers who have no control over anyone’s destiny. It is equally important for you to realize that the negative information that we psychics sometimes deliver may provide our clients with an opportunity to prepare for negative events and to plan ways to neutralize the negative results they produce.

A Tarot Reader once told me that “A Tarot reading talks about what will occur if you do nothing.” I agree with that statement and I think it applies to all forms of psychic readings. Although we cannot change some future events, I do believe that once we are warned about them we have been given the opportunity to positively affect the results they will potentially produce.

So, instead of blaming the psychic for the negative information, it would be smart to engage in a conversation with them and see if there is a way to soften the blow.  Your anger or disappointment in receiving negative information only serves to block your psychic from communicating with the spirit guides who are present during your reading. Heed the message and don’t shoot the messenger!

How to be a Good Psychic Client – Part 2

(Continued)

Sorry for the delay on Part 2 of this post. I have been extremely busy!

3. Listen carefully when your psychic explains how she or he conducts their reading sessions. Don’t assume that every psychic reads in the same manner. Psychic talent comes in very diverse forms and is practiced using many different methods and approaches. I prefer to tune into my client when they sit down in front of me without being informed of the reason for their session. 90% of the time, I pick up on their  most important issue in the first few minutes of our session. After that, my clients are free to ask about any other issue.  I always inform my new clients of this but some just can’t adhere to my wishes, for some odd reason. When they start asking questions right away it throws me off balance and can potentially have a negative effect on the reading. I want validation right away in a session so that my client and I both know that I am “on”. The session takes off from there.

4. TALK to your psychic! I can’t begin to explain how maddening it is when my clients respond to my visions by saying, “Uh, huh.” or “Okay.”. Some new clients just shake their heads up and down or sideways in response. Every psychic needs what we call “validation” of what they have seen for you. If I say that I see an elderly woman wearing a red pendant necklace and you know who she is, say so right away! Knowing that what I am seeing is correct spurs me on to see even more. I think many people are of the belief that you should say nothing that will influence a psychic when they are tuning in for you. You’re not influencing me if you identify with what I have seen. Telling me beforehand will influence what I see and that is the primary reason I tune in first and ask for questions later on in my sessions. A psychic session is team effort between the psychic and the client. So, do your part while your psychic does their part!

How to be a Good Psychic Client

In my last post I discussed how to find a good psychic. In this post, I shift to the other side of the reading table and discuss what it takes to become a good psychic client.

1. This is the most important quality a good psychic client can possess; being on time for your scheduled reading! Although many clients do not realize it, a good psychic’s appointment book is generally filled each day. When one client is late it can potentially delay every following appointment for the rest of the day. Knowing this, after you have showed up 15 minutes late or more for your session, stresses your psychic out.  Trust me when I say this, that doesn’t improve his or her accuracy. Life isn’t perfect so there will be times when you can not avoid being late for your appointment. If that occurs, have the decency to call your psychic and let them know your estimated time of arrival. There is nothing worse than having to sit and wait wondering what the heck happened to your scheduled client. And be understanding if your psychic has to reschedule your appointment because of time restraints. You will get major kudos (and maybe a better reading) for demonstrating that you realize your psychic’s time is just as valuable as yours.

2. Don’t challenge your psychic during your reading. This may sound odd but this has happened to me many times over the past 30+ years. A client will come in and sit across from me with their arms folded across their chest accompanied by a cold stare on their face. They deny that anything I say is accurate and refuse to give me any information that might help me to interpret what I am seeing for them. If this goes on for too long the client is usually in for a shock when I stop the reading (at no charge to them) and usher them out my front door. Most of the time they beg for forgiveness and want me to resume the reading. That rarely happens. Once their combative attitude blocks the flow of information from my spirit guides and theirs, it’s too late to continue. I have never figured out why some people do this. It is completely counterproductive! I can only guess they are skeptics who want to prove that spiritualism is fake or maybe they think that their denials will make the psychic work harder and produce more results for them. They couldn’t be more wrong.

What to Look for When Choosing a Psychic – Part 3

This is the last part of my posting on how to choose a psychic.

12. Very often, the best psychics are the ones that your friends and relatives recommend to you. Listen to their experience with their psychic to determine if this is the one you are looking for to answer your questions. However, if you don’t feel good about their referral, don’t let them pressure you into going to their psychic for a reading. Again, pay attention to your intuition!

13. Will the psychic record your session for you at no additional charge? Or will they allow you to record it on your smartphone or digital recorder? Any reputable psychic will record your session for you or allow you to record it yourself. In this way, you can review the session later in order to get most out of it. I can’t tell you how many times a client will call me back after reviewing one of my recordings to tell me that they figured out some mysterious detail that I envisioned during their session. Details received during a psychic reading can be overwhelming at times. Don’t worry if you don’t understand a detail or two. Most likely, you will figure it out later when you review the session recording.

14. This is the most important advice I can give you on selecting a psychic. If the psychic you have chosen uses something he or she has seen in your reading to frighten you into paying for more time or additional services, end the session immediately! There are charlatans out there who use their craft to scare you into agreeing to pay an exorbitant amount of money to lift a “curse” from you or to prevent something terrible from happening to you or a loved one. I have spoken to people who have been ripped off in excess of $100,000 as a result of this scam! These unsavory individuals are very good at taking advantage of your belief in spiritualism. If this happens to you, stand up, pay for the time you have used and leave. The longer you stay, the more likely you will be drawn into believing their scam.

I hope this post on how to choose a good psychic has been helpful!

What to Look for When Choosing a Psychic

Just as it is important to carefully select a doctor, a dentist or a building contractor, it is very important to do the same when selecting a psychic for a reading. As in other professions, there are a lot of fakes in the psychic profession. This is especially true when the economy is not going well, as is the case presently. The explosion of hotline telephone psychics has also helped to make it very difficult to choose wisely.

Here is a list of things to consider when you are looking for a new psychic or for one to give you a second opinion on a reading from your regular psychic.

1. Is this an established psychic or is this a psychic from a psychic hotline or website? Psychics from hotlines and psychic web sites are generally not well-tested for accuracy by their employers, if they are tested at all.

2. Does the psychic use tools to enhance their gift such as cards, spells, runes or tea leaves? You should always ask about this. You may not want or trust a reader who uses tools to perform your reading.

3. What type of psychic talents does the psychic possess? Many psychics have more than one psychic talent. They may be clairvoyant, clairsentient, clairaudient, a Medium, a channeler, an empath or any combination of these talents and more. Multiple talents are a plus.

4. How long have they been in practice? The longer that they have been practicing their craft the better. Fake psychics don’t have long careers as their fakery is eventually exposed early on.

5. What is their accuracy rate? No psychic is 100%. Perfection is impossible in this universe. However, a high rate of accuracy, 70-90%, is generally found in your better psychics. Ask.

6. Find out what is different about them as opposed to other psychics. It is a bad sign if they stutter or stammer or can’t answer this question quickly and with conviction.

What is Mediumship?

Often times, usually whenever I identify myself as a Medium, I am asked to define the term.  It is a very hard task to define that term in a short phrase because the term “Medium” is very generic. Like so many other genres, Mediumship has become very splintered over the past 150 or more years. Mediumship came about as the result of the development of Spiritualism beginning in the 1840’s and continued to develop well into the 1920’s in the United States.

Spiritualism  is a belief that the spirits of those who have passed on from the physical world have the ability and the desire to communicate with the living who remain in the physical world. In the Afterlife, Spiritualists believe that the Spirit continues to evolve in its non-physical or ethereal domain. They believe, as a result, that Spirit is more highly evolved than man and that spirits are capable of providing useful knowledge about moral, ethical and personal issues, as well as about the nature of the creator of the Universe. That is why Spiritualists came up with the term “Spirit Guides” for the Spirit that they communicate with from the ethereal realm. Spiritualists believe that they are demonstrating the existence of Spirit through messages obtained by Mediumship.

I usually offer a simple explanation of what a Medium is and what they do. I say that a Medium is a person, usually female, who communicates with spirits on behalf of another person. And that is what Medium does in a nutshell. There is so much more to it than that, though. In the years since the 1840’s much experimentation has been done in the field of Mediumship. And, because humans are individually unique, many of those experimenters found different ways to demonstrate the existence of Spirit.

The state of consciousness that needs to be achieved in order to perform Mediumship is the same regardless of the type of contact with Spirit. All Mediums have to enter a state of Trance. I have discussed this state in a previous post in my discussion of the Alpha States. Mediums drop into Alpha 3 which is the Trance State. Contact with Spirit requires that we alter our state of consciousness so that we can be communicated with by Spirit. Some of us are born with the ability to drop in, hold and return from the Trance State at will. When we have that talent we are known as Mediums who are used by Spirit to communicate with us across different planes of existence.

The Art of Manifestation Part 4

Sometimes we don’t need to do anything more than believe that we can manifest.

For example, let’s say you want to attract a relationship with a man or a woman. In days gone by, you would get a love potion from Gypsy and slip it into a drink for the object of your desire. Again, this would create imbalance as the object of your desire has no interest in you. You will have circumvented their free will.

Here, the best way to attract a mate is to firmly believe that he or she will come to you. You need to “see” that in your mind and reaffirm constantly that he or she is coming to you. Have a general idea of the qualities that you are looking for but don’t be too specific. And then you need to relax and reaffirm the event or thing you need to attract until it manifests.

You repeat this affirmation daily so that the attraction continues. I personally have employed the Art of Manifestation many times in my life with great success. I have prevailed in situations that no one believed that I would prevail. I simply believed with all of my being that the outcome was as I saw it in my mind.

You can manifest even more successfully in an altered state of consciousness. When we start to go to sleep we drop into an Alpha state. That state is divided into 4 levels. The Alpha One Level is where daydreaming occurs. This is where you go when you’re driving down the road and suddenly realize that you haven’t been paying attention to the road at all. You were daydreaming.  This is where we go to figure solutions to problems. This is called the Rhythm of Genius state. It is also the best state to go to for Manifestation.

In the Alpha One state your 5 senses are cut off so that you can focus entirely on something. Daydreaming, contrary to popular belief, can be a good thing. This is where you can best focus entirely the object of your manifestation. You are creating the non-physical reality in your mind and so it’s dual counterpart in the physical world is being created, too.

The Daydreaming state can be achieved easily by sitting in a chair and focusing on the desired results or during a meditation. Again, you need to repeat this process to continue the attraction of your desire.

In summary, we have been practicing Manifestation for over 50,000 years. It is something that we have always done and will most likely always do. Manifestation comes as a result of three principles or laws. They are the Principle of Duality, the Principle of Magic by Contagion and the Law of Attraction.

We begin to manifest when the first thought of what we need occurs. We help to manifest by immersing ourselves in the vibration of the thing or event that we wish to create. And we attract the object of our manifestation as a result of that immersion.

And, lastly, daydreaming and meditation increases the force of the attraction.

This ends my discussion on Manifestation. Thank you for taking the time to read my posts on this subject.

Making Use of the Alpha Levels

Before I go into Dream Interpretation I thought it was more important to talk about making use of the 4 Alpha levels. In this post I will discuss a good use for the Alpha 1 level. The Alpha 1 level can be difficult to achieve and hold at will, but it can be mastered with practice.

The best time to begin learning to use the power of the Alpha 1 level is when you find yourself faced with a problem that has been difficult for you to solve. Sit down in a chair, close your eyes and immerse your mind in the details of your problem. This should be easy considering the amount of thought that you have already given to it.

Next, try to visualize your problem in your mind’s eye on a large television screen and then begin to see the solutions on the screen that you have come up with so far even though they may have failed to solve your problem. This helps you to double-check your prior solutions and to immerse yourself in the problem solving process. When you have done that without reaching a viable solution, concentrate on visualizing other possible solutions from beginning to end on your television screen. At some point, you will not have to exercise any control over this part of the process. It will take on a life of its own.

All of this may occur at an amazing speed if you are a natural at maintaining the Alpha 1 level. Everyone else can achieve the same results by practicing this method over and over again until you become very proficient at it. I believe that we all have the ability to use the altered states of consciousness at will. Your belief that you can achieve and hold the Alpha 1 level opens the way for you to master it and to use it to better your life.

When you believe that you have solved the problem, return to the Beta State by opening your eyes. Have pen and paper at hand when you practice this exercise so that you can immediately record it on paper. Another great way to record your solution is to have a digital recorder on hand and record your solution verbally onto it. When you get good at using the Alpha 1 level you will be amazed at the information that you receive in such a short time.

After a while you will no longer need to sit and relax to enter the Alpha 1 level. You can do it standing up in the office, at school while taking an exam and even while you’re participating in a sport. Athletes call this “Being in the Zone”. The only difference there is that you do it with your eyes open. The Alpha 1 level is all about focus on a desired solution by blocking out unneeded sensory input. This unleashes the hidden power in our brain.

I will discuss a use for the Alpha 2 level in my next post.

The Delta State

When we transition from the Theta State to the Delta State there is a significant change in the functioning level of the brain. The Delta State is the Sleep State. You are unconscious whenever you are in Delta. Here the brain has slowed almost to a complete stop. This is the state where the body makes necessary repairs and assimilates the nutrients, vitamins and minerals that have been consumed during the day. Our bodies are rebuilt a little at a time from the atomic level on up. We replace every atom and cell in our body with new ones every 5 to 7 years. We are not physically who we were 5-7 years ago. Again, I believe that is due to the natural cycle of our universe. That is, nothing stays the same and is in a constant state of flux. It is vital for our good health and longevity that we get enough time in Delta sleep each day so that this process of regeneration is not stalled or interrupted.

When we first drop into the Delta State we stay there for about 90 minutes. We then transition back to the Alpha 1 level in the REM State and transition down through to Delta again. We spend less time in Delta and more time in Alpha each time we re-enter those states during the night. We can conclude from this process that spending enough time in the Alpha State is as equally important for us as the time we spend regenerating in Delta. Nature does not waste time or energy doing things that produce no benefit.

The exception to the slowing of the brain in altered states of consciousness occurs in the state I talked about in my last post, the Gamma State. The following is a list of the different wave and their rate of oscillation. Notice the huge difference with the brain activity in the Gamma wave.

  • Beta wave – (16 – 31 Hz)
  • Alpha wave – (8 – 15 Hz)
  • Theta wave – (4 – 7 Hz)
  • Gamma wave – (32 – 100 Hz)
  • Delta wave – (0.1 – 3 Hz)

Looking at the startling difference in brain activity I am struck with one theory. I think that the Gamma Wave State is similar to our Beta State in the Spirit World. It indicates high brain activity at a rate that is 2-3 times the speed of the Beta State in the physical realm. We have believed for a long time that the Spirit World vibrates at a much higher frequency than we do in our realm. So, it looks like we connect with the Spirit World for short periods of time every night and we need to vibrate at a higher frequency when we do.

I believe that the Gamma State is a state where we receive messages from Spirit and that message plays out like a video when we re-enter the Alpha levels 1-4 in the Dream State. Therefore, accurate Dream Interpretation becomes very important. We need to know what those messages from our Spirit Guides are all about.

This finishes my posts on the Sleep and Dream States. I will begin a new short series of posts on Dram Interpretation in my next post.
